Let the first consecutive number be x.

let the second consecutive number be (x+1).

And,the third consecutive number be (x+2).

A/Q, We have

x+(x+1)+(x+2)=36

or, x+x+x= 36-2-1

or,3x=36-3

or,x=33/3

or,x=11

Therefore,the first consecutive number =11.

The second consecutive number =(x+1)=(11+1)=12.

And,The third consecutive number=(x+2)=(11+2)=13.

hence,The first term is11.
