   We have, x+y= 67 .......................................(1)

             and x-y= 15 .......................................(2)

           By Adding Eqn. (1) & (2)

       

                   x+y= 67

                   x-y=  15

                ∴2x=     82

                    ∴x=82/2= 41

          By Putting x=41 in eqn. (2)

                       41-y=15

                         ∴y=26

x+y=65

x= 65-y. ••••• equation 1

x-y=15

x=15+y. ••••• equation 2

from equation 1 and 2.

=> 65-y=15+y

=> 65-15=y+y

=> 50=2y

=> 2y=50

=> y=50/2

=> y=25

substituting the value of y in equation 2.

x=15+25

x= 40
