GIVEN :

  • The surface are of a cube is 30 sq. meters.

TO FIND :

  • The volume of a cube.

SOLUTION :

To find the volume of a cube,

We know that,

TSA of a cube = 6 a²

TSA of a cube = 30

=> 30 = 6 a²

=> 30/6 = a²

=> a² = 5 cm

=> \large \sf \sqrt {5} \ cm

Now,

Volume of a cube = a³

\implies \sf a^{3} \ = \ (\sqrt {5})^{3}

\implies \sf a \ = \ \sqrt {5} \ cm^{3}

\implies \sf a \ = \ \sqrt {5} \times \sqrt {5} \times \sqrt {5}

\implies \sf 5 \sqrt {5}

\large \blue {\boxed {\sf Volume \ = \ \approx 11.18 \ cm³}}

•°• The volume of a cube is 11.18 cm³.
