Step-by-step explanation:

4500 m.=1500*3.

temperature decreases by 8°C per 1500 m.

so, temperature decreased for 4500 m.is 8*3=24°C.

temperature at 4500 m.is 4°C.

then temperature at the ground is 4+24=28°C.

9000 m.=1500*6

temperature decreases by 6*8=48°C.

temperature at ground is 28°C.

temperature at an altitude of 9000m. is 28-48= -20°C
