SoluTion :-

GiVen

f(x) = 5x² - 14x + 8

Now we have to make f(x) = 0

By splitting the middle term

 \implies 5x^2 - 4x - 10x + 8 = 0

Grouping like terms

 \implies (5x^2 - 10x) + (-4x + 8) = 0

 \implies 5x( x - 2) -4(x - 2) = 0

 \implies (5x - 4)(x - 2) = 0

So, two roots of x = 4/5 and 2
