The quantity in A =x

The quantity in B =3x

total quantity in A and B is 4x

Quantity of milk =4x(40/100)=8x/5

Quantity of water is 4x(60/100)=12x/5

ratio is 8x/5:12x/5+10=4:11

(11)8x/5=4(12x/5+10)

88x/5=48x/5+40

40x/5=40

X=5

The initial quality in A =5 liters.
