2. There are two similar glands P which are located on top of two similar organs
Q in the human body. The glands P are often called glands of emergency and
they secrete a hormone R into the bloodstream. The hormone R is secreted in
large amounts when a person is frightened. It brings about temporary changes
in the body which allow a lot of substance S from the liver to go into the
blood so as to provide a lot of energy. This helps the person to fight back or run away from frightening situations. What are P, Q, R and S?

Answer:

p is adrenal gland

q  is kidney

r is adrenaline

s is glycogen

Explanation:

q  is kidney as it is the only internal organ that has a double and the glands above the kidneys are the adrenal glands which is p as p is above q.

r is adrenaline as it is secreted by the adrenal gland which is p and adrenaline is also used to help a person when afraid.

s is glycogen as it is given by the liver for energy and glycogen is the only substance by liver that gives energy.
