  • The Purvanchal Mountains consist of the area of the Himalayas bending located in this range which is part of the Deccan plateau.

  • Purvanchal hill range includes the Patkai, Naga, Barail range, Manipur, and Mizo hills.

  • The Mishmi Hills are the ranges which are highest range of the Purvanchal hills which are situated in North-eastern part of Arunachal Pradesh state.

  • The Mishmi Hills are located at the northeastern tip of India, On the Chinese side, they form the southern parts of Nyingchi Prefecture in the Tibet Autonomous Region. These hills occur at the junction of the Northeastern Himalaya and Indo-Burma ranges.

  • Manipuri hills ranges, connected by spurs and ridges, run generally north-south. These ranges include the Naga Hills to north,  East Manipur Hills along with the eastern Myanmar border, Mizo and Chin hills to south, and West Manipur Hills to west sides.
