2. Though, the same current flows through connecting wire of heating element of heater,yet only
element glows. Why?​

Explanation:

The resistance of elements of an electric heater is very High. Asthe current flows through the heating element,it becomes too hot and glows red .On the other hand, the resistance of cord is low .It does not becomes red when current flows through it.
