The correct match for Q)2(i) and Q2(ii) is option c.

To match the nets with their 3D shapes, we proceed as explained -

  1. A net is a 2D figure obtained by opening each segment of a 3D figure and laying them on a surface.
  2. In Question 2 (i), the given 3D figure is a cuboid, which has 6 faces, 8 edges and 8 vertex.
  3. In option (a) and (b), there are only 5 faces. But, in option (c), the given net has 6 faces.
  4. Thus, we can conclude that option (c) is the correct answer.
  5. Now, in Question 2 (ii), the given 3D figure is a cylinder, which has 2 flat curcular faces and 1 curved face, 2 edges and 0 vertex.
  6. Moreover, it must be noted that when the curved surface is unrolled from 3D to 2D and laid on a falt surface, it will be a square.
  7. In all the options we have 2 flat circular face but only in option (c), we have a square.
  8. Thus, option (c) is the correct answer.
