Sustainable development is important as it saves national budget, fulfills the need of people, conserves natural resources, helps in the coordination between the natural resources and people and conserves natural resources for future generation.

Sustainable development refers to "Development that meets the needs of present without compromising the future generations". The sustainable development always balance the environment, economy, health etc. Sustainable development is a concept which was first used in 1987 to warn the negative consequences globalization.

According to Brundtland report of 1987, The term "sustainability" should be viewed as human future goal for environment equilibrium and health caring etc. But the term "Sustainable development" should be referred to process that causes/leads to the end of the sustainability. Nowadays, For human welfare, Humans are cutting down the trees and harming environment. This may lead to the future problems. But, The concept of Sustainable development is for preserving the environmental changes.

The concept of sustainable development have completed almost 30 years. But most of us don't know "what is to be sustained?". So, There is nothing that needs to be sustained. Because, After preserving and sustaining the resources, the condition will be still same. It has been argued that, If there is no thing like Non-renewable resource, then the rate of exploitation will be positive.

The factors like industrial revolution, vehicle population, nuclear power reactors are rendered for the unsustainable growth. Because, This factors have ignores the environmental conservation for the economic growth. The sub-groups of Sustainable development are Social, Environmental, Economic etc. To achieve sustainable development in the future, The US has approved the 2030 agenda. The 2030 agenda goals to sustainable development and to protect the future earth from the global well being of people.

  • The goals of sustainable development are: No poverty, Zero hunger, Good health, Gender equability, Peace, Justice, Affordable and clean energy, Quality education, Clean climate action, Good life below water and also good life on land etc.
  • The sustainable development goals are also known as Global goals. Hence, This all goals are very important for global growth and development as well.
  • The call from the US nation to all other countries reports that, The humanity is currently facing a huge consequences and difficulties. To ensure and live proper life in future, we must be responsible with our goals.
