Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and the Adventures of Tom Sawyer! The following is
an extract from the Adventures of Tom Sawyer, in which
you will read the mischievous activities of a boy f o am ao
who was eight years old. His name was Tom
Sawyer and he lived with his aunt called Aunt
Polly, his sister, Mary and brother, Sid.
It was Monday morning. Tom Sawyer
was unhappy. Monday morning always
found him so, because it began another
week of school. He often wished that
there had been no holiday on
Sundays as it made going
again into confinement.
Tom lay thinking.
He wished to be
sick so that he would not have to go to school. he examined his whole body but couldn't find ailment. he thought he had some pain in his stomach and began to encourage it. but soon the stomach pain vanished away entirely.​
