Let smaller no. be x and larger no. be y

y-x=3

or, y=x+3 (1)

Also

2x+3y=19

or, 2x+3(x+3)=19 ....from (1)

or, 2x+3x+9=19

or, 5x=19-9=10

or x=10/5=2

Now from (1)

y=x+3=2+3=5

Therefore x=2, y=5

Hie!!

Let the two numbers be x and y. where x is smaller then y

According to the given Question.

y - x = 3 ... Equation i

2x + 3y = 19 ... Equation ii

Multiply Equation i by 2 we have

2y - 2x = 6 ... Equation iii

Now, Add Equation ii And Equation iii we have

5y = 25

y = 5

Put value of y in Equation i we have

5 - x = 3

x = 2

So, Then two numbers are 2 And 3
