2) Two wires are 12 m and 16 m long. The wires are to be cut into pieces of equal length. Find
the maximum length of each piece.
3 )On the playground, if the children are made to stand for drill either 24 to a row or 36 to a row,
all rows are complete and no child is left out. What is the lowest possible number of children in
that school?​

2) here we are having two wires of 12 m and 16m long and we are asked to cut the wire into equal length so the first wire can be cutted 6 m ( 12/2) each and the second wire can be cutted 8 m (16/2) each.

(2.) So.., the minimum number of students will be the LCM of 24 and 36 = 72
