2. Using the remainder theorem, find the remainder when x³ - 6x² + 2x-4 is divided by (1-2x)​

f(x) = x^3 + 6x^2 + kx + 10

When f(x) is divided by (x+2),the remainder is 4

This means tat : f(-2) = 4 (Remainder Theorem)

f(-2) = (-2)^3 + 6(-2)^2 + k(-2) + 10 = 4

-8 + 24 - 2k + 10 = 4

26 - 2k = 4

-2k = 4 - 26 = -22

k = -22/-2

k = 11.
