Answer:
f(x) = x^3 + 6x^2 + kx + 10
When f(x) is divided by (x+2),the remainder is 4
This means tat : f(-2) = 4 (Remainder Theorem)
f(-2) = (-2)^3 + 6(-2)^2 + k(-2) + 10 = 4
-8 + 24 - 2k + 10 = 4
26 - 2k = 4
-2k = 4 - 26 = -22
k = -22/-2
k = 11.
