can be divided into two parts :
Pre - Position
The two separate parts indicate Before and a Place respectively.
Basically,
A preposition is a word which is used after nouns or pronouns describing a relationship between the noun or pronoun and other words in the sentence.
They describe, for example:
the position /the place, the time, the direction, the manner.
Examples of Prepositions:
