▶⏩ What do you mean by precipitation reactions?¿

↪➡ Any reactions in which an insoluble solid (called precipitate) is formed that separates from the solution is called a precipitation reactions.

▶⏩ For example:-)

↪➡ If barium chloride solution is added to copper sulphate solution, then a white precipitate of barium sulphate is produced along with copper chloride solution.

=> BaCL2 +the CuSO4 → BaSO4 + CuCL2.

↪➡ When hydrogen sulphide gas is passed through copper sulphate solution, then a black precipitate of copper sulphide is formed along with sulphuric acid solution.

=> CuSO4 + H2S → CuS + H2SO4.✔✔.

☺ Hello mate__ ❤

◾◾here is your answer...

✒ PRECIPITATION REACTION:-- A reaction in which an insoluble solid (also called precipitate) is formed is called a precipitation reaction.

✒SOME EXAMPLES OF THAT TYPE REACTION:--

1) Na2CO3 (aq) + CaCl2 (aq) ---> CaCO4 (s) + 2NaCl (aq)

Here,

#Na2CO3 = sodium carbonate

#CaCl2= calcium chloride

#CaCO4= calcium carbonate

#NaCl= sodium chloride

--»» In this reaction, calcium carbonate is a precipitate.

2) Na2SO4(aq) + BaCl2(aq) --> BaSO4(s) + 2NaCl(aq)

Here,

# Na2SO4= sodium sulphate

# BaCl2= barium chloride

# BaSO4= barium sulphate

# NaCl= sodium chloride

--»» In this reaction, barium sulphate is obtained as a precipitate.
