SOLUTION :-

Mass of Solute = 10g

Mass of Solvent (Water) = 60g

We know,

Mass of Solution = Mass of Solute + Mass of Solvent

                            = 10g + 60g

Mass of Solution = 70g

Mass Percentage of the Solution = \frac{Mass\:of\:Solute}{Mass\:of\:Solution}*100

\Rightarrow\frac{10}{70} *100\\\\\Rightarrow \frac{1}{7} *100\\\\= 14.285714....

Mass% of the Solute in the Solution is 14.28%
