==> These tissues are mainly transport water, nutrients, minerals etc from one part of plant body to another

part. ==> They are mainly two types:

1). Xylem.

2). Phloem.

Functions:

==> Xylem conducts water from root through the shoots and out of the plant.

==> Phloem conducts sucrose that is made in the leaves to the rest part of the plant.

==> Phloem carries molecules necessary for growth and defence.
