2.What will be the remainder when y4 – 3y2 + 2y + 1 is divided by (y - 1)?
Please guys solve Q.​

By remainder theorem we know that if p(y) is divided by g(y ) = y-1 then the remainder will be p(1)

therefore, p(1)= 1^4-3(1)^2+2(1)+1

= 1-3+2+1= 1-3+3 = 1

therefore the remainder is 1
