2) When Dr Chanda came, Bepin Babu, said, “I’m fine. It all came back as soon as I got off the train at Ranchi.” ‘A unique case’, said Dr Chanda. “I shall certainly write about it in a medical journal.” “ The reason why I sent for you,’ said Bepin Babu, is that I have a pain in the hip from a fall in Ranchi. If you could prescribe a painkiller.”
i) Why is it a ‘unique case’?
ii) Why did Bepin Babu choose to tell a lie to the doctor?
iii) What had happened to Bepin?

1) The unique case is that Bepin had no memory of going to Ranchi at all. When he came from Ranchi he lied that his memory came back
2) He chose to lie to the doctor because he did not want to take medicines and lie on the bed???
3) Bepin had lost his memory of ever going to Ranchi. He kept denying that he did'nt go but everyone else said that he had.
P.S. I am not too sure 'bout the second answer :(
