A Twenty20 International (T20I) is one of a shape of cricket, it is
played between two of the top members of the International Cricket Council
(ICC).
In this each of the two teams play 20 overs. The matches have top-class status
and are the highest T20 standard.
The first ever Twenty20 International took place on 17 February 2005. In which Australia and New Zealand played against each other and Australia defeated New Zealand.
The first tournament was played two years later in which the ICC World Twenty20 was introduced.
