(-8) + (-4) > (-8) - (-4)
(-8) + (-4) < (-8) - (-4)
(-8) + (-4) = (-8) - (-4)

(ii) is correct

(-8)+(-4)<(-8)-(-4)

because

(-8)+(-4)= -8-4= -14

(-8)-(-4)= -8+4= -4

& -14 < -4
