Before getting into answer I will tell you one thing ‘Emotions are always there, it is just positive emotion is love and negative emotion is hate’ ..

Now let me give example of our Bollywood— Deepika and Ranbir Kapoor — they were deeply in love with each other. Infact so much that she got herself tattooed with his initials. Both of them were emotionally involved ( that's what Deepika and other people thought )

When Ranbir cheated on her , it shatters her heart and mind , her all emotions which were positive and pouring love , now changed into negative and started pouring hate, and she is definitely right in her place

Now analyse it : when you love someone your emotions are very high, you set up some basic or non-negtiable relation pact with the person you love depending on couples understanding.

When any one out of couple breaks it, it shatters other person and they start hating..

Bottom line is you hate only those who you once loved, because they have got deep into your nerves and your any wrong action will make as much negative impact on them as right action will make positive.. you won't hate so much to any other person who you don't have any attachment with..
