Lencho is the main character of the story “The Letter to God.” He is a poor farmer who is the sole bread-earner of the family. He had faith in God. Throughout the morning Lencho sat in his house and waited for the rain to come.

Lencho was a very hardworking farmer. He work like an ox in his fields. He had firm faith in god. He believed that god is watching everything and would definitely help him in his problem.
