A magnet can lose its magnetism in the following ways:

• When we fall it from tall height.
• When we burn it in the fire.
• By hammering the magnet repeatedly.
• By rough handling.

2) Three uses of magnet are:-

• Magnets are used in magnetic compass, doorbells, refrigerators.
• Magnets are used in dynamos, motors, loudspeakers, microphones, etc.
