1. The more water evaporates in a given area, the more water vapor rises into the air, and the higher the humidity of that area is. Hot places tend to be more humid than cool places because heat causes water to evaporate faster

2.Altitude refers to the height above sea level. Temperature decreases with increasing height above sea level. This makes the higher areas to have lower temperatures than the lower areas. A rise in altitude causes a fall in temperature and a cooling effect which causes condensation.

3. Distance from the sea – Oceans heat up and cool down much more slowly than land. This means that coastal locations tend to be cooler in summer and warmer in winter than places inland at the same latitude and altitude.
