That is the prince sends the ruby through the swallow. The swallow lays the ruby on the table where the seamstress was sleeping and gently flaps his wings on top of the boy.

The seamstress was very poor. Her son was ill and crying for orange. But the poor woman had nothing to give him except river water. So the Happy Prince sent the ruby though the swallow to help her.

The swallow came to the poor woman's house and laid the ruby on the table beside her. The bird fanned the boy's forehead with wings and flew back to the Happy Prince.
