Two reasons: One is that we can't feel the temperature of an object, we feel the temperature of of our own flesh. When you touch something hot, it heats up your skin, and that heat in your skin is what you feel. ... The other reason is that it isn't really accurate to say that we feel heat in our skin.

because something that was hot made the object hot in which it was ... and after the inner thing colls down the object remains hot . that's why we feel that hot and therefore we should not rely on our sense of touch for estimating the hotness of an object
