The narrator had two choices to make, he had to choose a path that was used by people the most or the path that wanted wear i.e, it was not used by many people. Here he talks about the decisions he had to make in life, one was the choice made the most by the population or the choice that majority would not choose, which made it harder for the narrator to choose his path.

The poet find himself at a point where two roads diverged his problem is to decide on which road he should walk . it becomes difficult for a normal human being to change his her decision the poet intendes to walk on the first road but he could not do so because life does not offer multiple chance to choose. He nau repents for not getting chance to travel on the first road
