Khilafat Movement

Khilafat Movement was started by two Ali brothers namely Mohammad Ali and Shaukat Ali.

This movement was started to protect Islam and to support the Sultan of Turkey.The khilafat Movement was globally reached and also in India it spread to whole parts of the country.The purpose of this Movement to commemorate the British government and not to eradicate the caliphate as Islam would be in danger.

There was demand for basic necessities such as buying and selling of goods ,schools for learning etc.

The Leaders of this movement make a notice and were issued from khilafat committee to all the Muslims in which written that not to join armed forces and police , boycott Britishers and not to pay any type of taxes.
