the ryots had to sign an agreement. those who signed the contracts got cash advances from the planters the planter wa provided the seed and the drill. Afer the harvest a new loan was given to the royt and thecycle started all over again.the peasants who were intally temppted by the loan soon relaized how harsh this system was.
