2 women and 5 men can together finish an embroidery work in 4 days while 3 women and 6 men can finish it in 3 days find the time taken in one woman alone to finish the work and also that taken by one man alone

suppose women can finish his work in X days and man in y days.
then women work in one day =1/x
and man =1/y
According to question
2 women and 5 men do work in 4 days
2/x+5/y=1/4
also 3 women and 6men finish work in 3days.
3/x+6/y=1/3
let supposed 1/x =p
and 1/y =q
2p+5q=1/4 (1)and 3p+6q=1/3(11)
now
multiply Equation 1 by 3 and 11 by 2
then 6p+15q=3/4 (111)
and 6p+12q=2/3(1v)
subtract 1v from equation 111
then q=1/36
put in any equation this value and then p=1/18
1/x=1/18
and 1/y=1/36
x=18 y =36
