Buddha Jayanti is being observed across the country on Monday by organising various programmes. Spreading the message of peace and harmony, Buddhists together with other religious sects marked the 2562th birth anniversary of Gautam Buddha with gaiety.
Devotees have gathered in the birth place of Buddha, Lumbini, and other monasteries to offer prayers chanting hymns.
