You home-
My home is situated in the suburb of mumbai,. A very fast moving place, yet I love the place. I live in an apartment and it is not a very large one. We live on the second floor. Our home is small, yet it has all the joy and happiness that I could ever dream of. My father works as a banker and my mother does writing. I have a little sister and we make our home.
My grandparents live close by, but not together with us. We just have a two bedroom apartment, with wonderful balconies and a good kitchen, where my mom always cooks great delicious food. In one of the rooms, myself and my sister share. We study and play in that room.
The other room, my parents use. The dinning is along with living room and we have separated it with an arch. The balconies are not very large, but they face the main roads, and so it is really very nice to stand out in evenings, and enjoy the nature. We have our car parking below and a small park where we could play in the evenings.
I love my home very much. There is so much of fun and joy at my home. Though we fight for small things, my parents make us realize about all the good things in life and we try understanding them. We love our home very much. Being in the city, we also enjoy weekends going out and sometimes mom trying new recipes.
Our home is sweet and as we see it, it is really “Home sweet Home”. As the saying goes “A house is built by hands, but a home is built by hearts”, our home is also built by hearts. A warm, welcoming and loving place is what my home is.

There is no other better place in the world, than being in the comfort of our homes. Home is where we learn the first lessons in life.
The unity, love, togetherness all comes from a home. Home is the base for every individual and we should thank God for being blessed with a lovable home.
Members of the family-
I have a wonderful family and love all my family members.

The locality you live in-
I live in a mofussil town near the city of Kolkata. The town is situated close to a railway station. It is a very small town. There may be about two hundred houses here. Most of them are one storied and quite a few have tile roofs. There are a few metalled roads connecting the various parts of the town. The only means of communication here is bicycle or cycle-rickshaw. Most of us travel on foot. The people in our town belong mostly to the middle class. Some of them work in various office in the city and some have business. The people are good and friendly. Everyone is ready to help the other in his need. There are two educational institutions, one primary school and a secondary school in our town. We do not have any Higher Secondary School or any college. We have, however, a health centre where the attending physician is quite efficient and sympathetic. There is also a big shopping centre in the middle of the town. There we can buy all the things we need. There are many big trees in our town. They give shade and says the town from pollution. There are big ponds in our town. I sometime go to one of them for fishing. I love my town.

My neighbour’s name is Mr Harsh Thakur. He is an Army Officer.
He is polite and offers me chocolates whenever I visit his house.
He is tall and always has a smile on his face. He is a very punctual and hardworking person.
He regularly goes for evening walks and plays badminton too.
He is married, has a son and a pet dog.
His wife is a professor. She makes delightful pancakes and sends some to our house too.
Their son Shivam is a good friend of mine. We play together after school.
All of us have been to many picnics together. The previous time, we went to a zoo and had a great time.
