Answer:

2(x-1)²=4x²-2x+1

using (a-b)²=a²+b²-2ab

2(x²+1-2x)=4x²-2x+1

2x²-4x+2=4x²-2x+1

0=4x²-2x²-2x+4x+1-2

2x²+2x-1=0
