2 X + 20% of x is equal to 12.1

Hey mate!

Here is yr answer...

2x + 20% = 12.1

2x = 12.1 - 20%

2x = 12.1 - 20/100

2x = 1210 -20 / 100

2x = 1190/100

2x = 119/10

x = 119/20

x = 5.95

2x +  \frac{20}{100}  \times x = 12.1
200x + 20x = 1210
220x = 1210
x= 1210÷220
x=5.5

it's best answer and correct also.
