hello mate,

$2(x - \frac{3}{2} ) = 11 \\ \\ x - \frac{3}{2} = \frac{11}{2} \\ \\ x = \frac{11}{2} + \frac{3}{2} \\ \\ x = \frac{11 + 3}{2} \\ \\ x = \frac{14}{2} \\ \\ x = 7$
