Answer:

x= 2/3, y=-3

Step-by-step explanation:

To find this, simply find one of the variables in one of the equations and substitute it in the other. You get x=2/3 and y=-3 when you do this. Substitute them and see. It works!

y= -3 , x=2/3

Step-by-step explanation:

2y + 3x = 2xy -(i)

5y + 10x = 25xy/6

6(5y + 10x) = 25xy

30y + 60x = 25xy

5(6y + 12x) = 25xy

6y + 12x = 5xy -(ii)

Multiplying eq (i) with 6 and eq (ii) with 2

12y + 18x = 12xy -(iii)

12y + 24x = 10xy -(iv)

Subtracting eq (iii) and eq (iv)

12y + 18x = 12xy -(iii)

12y + 24x = 10xy -(iv)

0 -6x = 2xy

2xy = -6x

y = -6x/2x

y= -3

Substitute the value of y in any equation you will get x

Substituting value of y in eq (i)

2(-3) + 3x = 2x(-3)

-6 + 3x = -6x

6x + 3x = 6

9x = 6

x = 6/9

x= 2/3
