Answer:

hey

Step-by-step explanation:

Let 1/x=a

1/y=b

2a+3b=6......(1)

a+2b=2..........(2)

By Elemination Method

multiply eq2 by 2

2(a+2b=4)

2a+4b=4

subtract eq1 from eq2

2a+4b=2

2a+3b=6

b=-4

putting the value of b in eq1

2a+3(-4)=6

2a-12=6

2a=6+12

2a=18

a=18/2

a=9

I hope it help

mark it as brilliant
