6x +5y=11

6x + 9y =21

(-)
6x + 5y =11
-----------------
0 + 4y = 10

4y = 10
y = 10/4 = 5/2 =2.5.

2x + 3y = 7
2x + 3(2.5) = 7
2x +7.5 = 7
2x = -0.5
x = -0.5/2 = -0.25.

therefore,

y = 2.5
x = 0.25

2x + 3y = 7......(i)
6x + 5y = 11.....(ii)
multipply (i) with 5 and (ii) with 3
10x + 15y = 35
18x +15y = 33
-      -         -
-8x = 2
x = 2/-8 = -1/4
from (i)
2(-1/4) + 3y = 7
-2/4 + 3y = 7
-1/2 + 3y = 7
3y = 7 + 1/2
3y = (14 + 1)/2
y = 15/6
y = 5/2
