2x+3y =8

2+3y+3y =8

6y =8-2

6y =6

y =6/6

y =1

Putting the value of y,

2(x) +3(1)=8

2x =8-3

x =5/2

I hope this will help you

Heya user ,
Here is your answer !!

2x + 3y = 8 ......... ( i )

2x = 2 + 3y
=> 2x - 3y = 2 ......... ( ii )

Solving ( i ) and ( ii ) , we get ,
2x + 3y = 8
2x - 3y = 2

=> 4x = 10
=> x = 10 / 4 = 2.5 ....... [ Ans ]

So , putting the value of x in eq. ( i ) , we get ,
2x + 3y = 8
=> ( 2×2.5 ) + 3y = 8
=> 5 + 3y = 8
=> 3y = 3
=> y = 1 ........ [ Ans ]

Hope it helps you !!
