Question :-

Solve :- 2 × 4 + (9-1) × 10

Answer :-

Here, BODMAS rule will be applied according to which firstly the brackets will be solved then the 'of' part, then comes division followed by multiplication, addition and subtraction respectively.

2 × 4 + (9-1) × 10

Applying BODMAS rule,

= 2 × 4 + 8 × 10 (As, 9-1 = 8)

= 8 + 80. (As, 2×4=8 & 8×10=80)

= 88. ( As, 8 + 80 = 88)

Required answer = 88
