Question -:

2 (x - 5) + 3 (x - 2) = 8 + 7 (x - 4).

\huge\orange{\underline{\overline{\tt\: Answer}}\mid}

2 \: (x - 5) +  3 \: (x - 2) = 8 + 7 \: (x  - 4)

2x - 10 + 3x - 6 = 8 + 7x - 28

2x + 3x - 10 - 6 = 8 + 7x - 28

5x - 4 = 8 + 7x - 28

5x - 7x = 8 - 28 + 4

 - 2x =  - 20 + 4

 - 2x =  - 16

x =  \frac{ - 16}{ \:  \:    -  2}

x = 8

Hope it helps!
