Hey Mate!

Its seems that question has an error, question must be 2x^2 - 3x - 5

2 {x}^{2}  - 3x  -  5 = 0 \\ 2 {x}^{2}  - 5x + 2x - 5 = 0 \\ x(2x - 5) + 1(2x - 5) = 0 \\ (x + 1)(2x - 5) = 0 \\

So, each get 0

x + 1 = 0

x = - 1

2x - 5 = 0

x = 5/2

Hope it helps☺!
