Answer:

(2x^2+x-1)/5=0

or,2x^2+x-1=0

or,2x^2+(2-1)x-1=0

or,2x^2+2x-x-1=0

or,2x(x+1)-(x+1)=0

or,(2x-1)(x+1)=0

therefore,either,2x-1=0

or,x=1/2

or,x+1=0

or,x=-1

Answer:

By Factorisation Method

 \frac{2 {x}^{2} + x - 1 }{5}  = 0

2 {x}^{2}  + x - 1 = 0 \\ 2 {x}^{2}  + 2x - x - 1 = 0 \\ 2x(x + 1) - 1(x + 1) \\ (2x - 1)(x + 1) =  0

2x - 1 = 0 \\ x =  \frac{1}{2}

x + 1 = 0 \\ x =  - 1
