solution:-

2(x² - 6) = 3(x - 4)

2x² - 12 = 3x - 12

2x² = 3x

2x² - 3 x = 0

2x²- 3x = 0

x • (2x - 3) = 0

x = 0 or 2x - 3 = 0

x = 0 or x = 3/2

i hope it helps you.

2( {x}^{2}  - 6) = 3(x - 4) \\  2 {x}^{2}   - 12 = 3x - 12 \\  2 {x}^{2} - 12 + 12 -  3x= 0 \\  2 {x}^{2}  - 3x = 0 \\ x(2x - 3) = 0 \\ x = 0 \\ 2x - 3 = 0 \\ x =  \frac{3}{2}
