\huge \mathbf{Your\: Answer:}

To find:-

  • y

Solution:-

\tt 2(y-\dfrac{5}{2})=0.3\\\\ \tt \Rightarrow 2(\dfrac{2y-5}{2})=0.3 \\\\ \tt \Rightarrow \cancel{2}(\dfrac{2y-5}{\cancel{2}}) =0.3 \\\\ \tt \Rightarrow 2y-5=0.3\\\\ \tt \Rightarrow 2y=0.3+5 \\\\ \tt \Rightarrow 2y = 5.3 \\\\ \tt \Rightarrow y=\dfrac{5.3}{2} \\\\  \tt \rightarrow y = 2.65

So, value of y is 5.3/2 or 2.65
