ATQ,

a-2=5(b-2).........(1)

a+8=3(b+8).......(2)

On further solving (1) ,

_a-2=5b-10

 a=5b-10+2

 a=5b-8.........(3)

On solving (2) ,

__a+8=3b+24

   Substituting from (3),

   (5b-8)+8=3b+24

   2b=24

   b=12......(4)

Putting value of b in (3)

  a=5b-8

   =60-8

   =52

Therefore age of father is 52 years and age on son is 12 years.
