then x=5y-8=50-8=42

Age of father = x - 2

Age of son = y - 2

According To Question :-

=) (x - 2) = 5 (y - 2)

=) x - 2 = 5y - 10

=) -2 + 10 = 5y - x

=) 8 = 5y - x

=) -x + 5y = 8 .....(1)

2 Years Later :-

Age of father = x + 2

Age of son = y + 2

According To Question :-

=) (x + 2) = 8 + 3 (y + 2)

=) x - 3y = 14 - 2
